Preview:
This one's gonna come down to who controls the nature of the fight. The wolverine is an aggressive carnivore that prefers to scavenge, but is also an adept predator. They'll try to keep things in a brawl on the ground, where they can utilize their claws, teeth, and sizable weight advantage. They've already notched victories against chippewas, cougars, and Irish leprechauns this season. However, they've not yet faced a flying opponent. This is the duck's strength. The ducks must orchestrate a carefully executed aerial assault that the ground-dwelling carnivoes will struggle to match. They've proved they can handle carnivorous mammals, defeating bulldogs, wildcats, and a pack of wolves in recent weeks. The ducks also hold home pond advantage. The only problem is that with predicted 70 degree, partly cloudy conditions at kickoff, there's no pond. The ducks can still use local knowledge of wind patterns and shadows to their advantage. To counter, the wolverines must strike early, wounding wings and thereby the aerial game.

Outlook:
This year's wolverines are fierce and tenacious. Ducks will put up a flight, but the wolverines will wear them down to the ground. Once the ducks tire or lose the capability to fly, call the pillow man, 'cause there's gonna be feathers.
